The AS-X has been conceived for mid and longrange applications, tours, stadiums, presentations...
The AS-X is a passive mid and high frequencies unit that contains two Neo 10” speakers for mid frequencies and one Neo 1.4” speaker for high frequencies. It’s been designed to work in combination with other AS-X units, in combined arrangements with other models in the series or as an independent full-range system.
The internal MF components are placed in a dipolar disposition that guarantees an excellent phase linearity, vertical dispersion and response.
The unit manages to extend the band pass under 70Hz, solving the inherent problems that most similarly sized cabinets have projecting mid-bass frequencies.
It produces a cylindrical wavefront with an excellent horizontal dispersion of 140 degrees in the standard version (also available in different coverages), a high SPL and an exceptionally full and clear sound. To provide even further flexibility, the AS-X is available in 2-way passive or active configurations.
Each AS-X unit is made in Finnish birch plywood, and finished in flame-resistant Epoxi matt-black Paint. All hardware is made of inox steel and all the components are protected by a specially designed laser-cut steel front grill. AS-SUB2 units are weather-proof and IP-45 certified.
As any other model in the series, the AS-X has got a great quantity of accessories for setup, stacking and transport, as well as a RAL color chart to choose from that complete a practical and versatile subwoofer.
